Once your Expression of Interest has been selected from the pool of applications, you will then be invited to lodge an application for an Entrepreneur Work visa.
The length of stay for this visa is a total of 3 years, this entails a 12 month period which is the initial start-up stage where you are required to propose and establish your business. From there it is another 24 months where you need to operate your business and make it a success.
Alongside this you need to ensure that your business complies with New Zealand employment and immigration law, show that the same or a greater amount of capital has been invested into the business as outlined in the business plan.
Most importantly you must be able to show that your business has a significant benefit for New Zealand.
