Damandeep is a qualified Solicitor in two jurisdictions, i.e. India and New Zealand. In India Damandeep practised with a reputed criminal law firm as an Advocate and currently specializes in New Zealand immigration law and policy. Damandeep advises on a range of immigration matters including AEWV, Employer Accreditation, Job Check, Section 61 and Section 172 Applications to the Minister of Immigration and Appeals before the Immigration and Protection Tribunal.

Having relocated to New Zealand in 2011 with his Kiwi wife, Daman enjoys Hamilton life with his family.

In his free time Daman also enjoys social cricket, badminton and basketball. He is an accomplished public speaker and is well versed in Hindi, Punjabi, Urdu and English.

Damadeep is well-connected to the local Sikh community in Hamilton and actively participates in community and political activities.
